4 Red Onions
1/2 bunch of Parsley
2 tablespoons of pomegranate molasses
1 teaspoon of sumac
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 lemon juice


1) Peel the onions and slice them in half, through the root and then slice them thinly in ring shapes. Put them in a colander, sprinkle lots of salt and rub them in salt for few minutes until they are separated from each other. Wash the onions in cold water and drain any excess water using a salad spinner if you have one.

2) Wash and finely chop the parsley leaves and add that to the chopped onions.

3) In a bowl mix the lemon juice, olive oil, sumac, pomegranate molasses and salt and add that to the onion salad.

4) You can serve this salad with barbecues.

4) Enjoy.
